Acurable

A London company that makes AcuPebble, a small wearable that helps diagnose sleep apnoea at home.

About Acurable

Acurable makes wearable medical devices for use at home. Its first product, AcuPebble SA100, tests for obstructive sleep apnoea, a condition where breathing repeatedly stops during sleep. The device is worn on the neck.

We did not find a formal mission statement. In December 2024 NICE recommended AcuPebble as a home alternative to a hospital sleep test (cardio-respiratory polygraphy) for fully remote diagnosis, and the company says it "simplifies the process entirely".

Acurable is based in London, with its December 2024 release datelined there. Founder Professor Esther Rodriguez Villegas did the underlying research at Imperial College London.

We did not find culture or values statements or headcount figures.

A jobs site listed no open roles when we checked, and we found no graduate scheme, internship or apprenticeship. Check Acurable's own careers page.
