A UK wholesale full fibre company, formed by joining Jurassic Fibre, Giganet, Swish Fibre and the original AllPoints Fibre, which builds fibre networks across the south of England and offers them to internet providers.
AllPoints Fibre Networks is a UK wholesale broadband operator. It builds its own full fibre networks and sells access to other internet providers through a platform it calls aquila, which links several fibre networks into one place so that a provider only has to connect once. A trade report says the platform brings together networks including those of Openreach, CityFibre, BT Wholesale and Sky, serving more than 23 million premises. It is owned by Fern Fibre, which belongs to Fern Trading. Its retail partner is Cuckoo.
AllPoints was formed in 2023 when Fern brought together four separate builders: Giganet, Swish Fibre, Jurassic Fibre and the original AllPoints Fibre. Jurassic Fibre was based in Exeter, Devon, and its founder and chief executive, Michael Maltby, said its mission was "to provide ultrafast connections to even the most hard to reach locations across the region". It built across rural Devon, Somerset and Dorset and, per Fern's 2023 summary, Cornwall too. Giganet worked in underserved parts of Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex, and Swish Fibre mainly across the Home Counties, including Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Oxfordshire.
Because the company was formed from separate regional builders, its UK presence is spread across southern England and the South West. The articles we read do not give a head office address. Jurassic Fibre was based in Exeter, and Fern says the original brands were consolidated into two companies, AllPoints Fibre Networks as the wholesale network and Cuckoo as the retail provider. Some customers in the former Jurassic, Giganet and Swish areas have been moved over to Cuckoo, the retail brand.
On leadership, a 2025 report named Ronan Kelly as managing director and Nisreen El-Kaloush as chief commercial officer, and a later article says Mark Walker is chief executive, having worked at Virtual1, TalkTalk Business and PXC. The company's stated focus is automation and efficient processes, with an IT stack rebuilt from scratch rather than relying on old systems, and a network built largely on high-speed Juniper routers. Its launch announcement says it aims to deliver the UK's "best and largest full fibre network" through aquila while keeping customer trust with strong service at the lowest cost to serve. We did not find a culture page.
That focus on automation suggests roles in software and network engineering, such as systems integrators and automation engineers who build the platform, alongside the roles of a network builder: designers, construction and project managers, field engineers and customer operations. There are also commercial staff who work with partner internet providers. Computing, electronics, engineering and business subjects connect to this work. See the aquila and Cuckoo websites for the current structure.
