A London-based school software company whose tools help teachers and school staff spend less time on admin; it has run one-week work experience for Year 10 pupils.
Arbor Education makes software that schools and multi-academy trusts use to run day to day, called a management information system (MIS). It holds things like registers, behaviour, timetables and reports so that staff do not have to do as much paperwork.
Its stated mission is "to transform the way schools work for the better". It says its tools help schools work more collaboratively and free staff from busywork.
Arbor's head office is in London, and it also has an office in Leeds. It says it is remote-first, with UK and Europe remote options. Its own pages quote over 12,000 schools and trusts using its tools, though another page gives different figures, and we did not find a headcount.
Its careers material describes a focus on development, wellbeing and regular recognition. Benefits listed include flexible hours, a four-day week option, a learning budget, career coaching and a mental health budget.
For young people, Arbor ran a one-week work experience in Leeds for Year 10 pupils at UK secondary schools. Pupils needed to be able to travel to the office each day, and the listing asked for enthusiasm, teamwork and good communication, with a short one-way video interview. Pay was not stated. That round closed on 20 March 2026 for dates in early July. We found no graduate scheme, so check careers.arbor-education.com for the next round.
