The London office of French private investment house Ardian, which recruits analyst interns into its London buyout team.
Ardian is a private investment house working across private equity, real assets and credit. In London, interns join the buyout team, helping to find companies to invest in, analyse them and carry out deals.
Ardian's closing line in its internship listing is: "At Ardian we invest all of ourselves in building companies that last." It stresses responsible investment, aiming to make finance a force for good, with high ethical standards and social responsibility.
The buyout internship is based in Ardian's London office. Ardian says it has over 1,115 employees in 22 offices across Europe, the Americas and Asia, and that it is majority-owned by its employees. We did not retrieve a UK headcount.
Ardian describes a collaborative culture based on "collective intelligence" and says it puts great emphasis on developing its people. It also says interns take on significant responsibility from day one and that high-performing interns have become permanent hires. These are Ardian's own claims.
The 2026 Buyout Internship asked for a degree from a leading university with at least a 2:1 or equivalent, and ideally a prior internship in private equity, investment banking M&A, transaction services or strategy consulting. Tasks include research, valuation and LBO modelling, and drafting investment memos. Duration, start date and pay were not stated. Sources disagree on timing: one gave a deadline of 13 October 2026, another showed the listing removed on 1 July 2026. Ardian also advertised private credit and client solutions internships in London.
