A partnership-owned UK consultancy founded in 2000 by a group of friends. It runs a graduate Analyst programme from its London offices.

About Baringa

Baringa is a management consultancy, meaning a firm that gives businesses and governments advice and hands-on help with change. Its work spans strategy, transformation, operational excellence, and AI, data and digital. It serves energy and resources, financial services, government and public sector, consumer products and retail, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, manufacturing, and technology, media and telecoms. Its graduate pack groups graduate work into four areas: Energy and Resources, Financial Services, Products and Services, and Government.

Baringa was founded in the UK in 2000 by a group of friends and is owned by its partners, because it chose to stay independent. We did not find individual founders named. Its about page says it is a global partnership with over 2,000 people, hubs in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia (including London, Singapore, New York, Chicago and Houston), and says partners each lead a team of no more than nine consultants.

The firm describes its purpose as 'putting people first, creating impact that lasts'. Its principles are Be Kind, Be Curious and Be Great at Work, and its values include inclusivity, collaboration, growth mindset, integrity and ownership. It describes its people as 'kind, curious experts' and says it aims to be net zero aligned by 2030. These are the firm's own statements.

Baringa says over 80% of its new business comes from referrals, recommendations and returning clients. It gives staff access to AI tools through an internal platform called Baringa Labs. Its work includes helping energy companies change, advising banks, insurers and investors, and working with public sector bodies.

For young people there are two UK routes. The paid eight-week UK internship is for penultimate-year students; 2027 applications had closed at the time we read the page and reopen next autumn, and the page says about three in four interns move on to the Graduate Analyst Programme. The Graduate Analyst Programme welcomes recent or final-year graduates with a strong academic record, and analyst stories in the pack mention joining with no prior consulting experience. Applications for 2027 were open when we read the page, with open roles in Energy and Resources, Capabilities, Products and Services, Public Sector Consulting and Financial Services. Benefits listed include a competitive salary (no figure given), a learning and development budget of about £5,000 a year, a £300 well-being allowance, profit share and pension matching. In the 2025 intake, assessment centres were held at the London offices in February, offers came in March and analysts started in September with two weeks of induction. The page says Baringa does not host placements or apprenticeships. It describes a flat structure with a buddy and project manager for interns, and says it is certified a Great Place to Work; these are its own claims. Check Baringa's careers site for current dates.
