A London-based electric vehicle charging company that builds on-street and rapid charging with councils, businesses and landowners.
Believ builds and runs electric vehicle charge points in the UK. It works with local authorities, businesses and landowners to install on-street chargers, as well as rapid and ultra-rapid chargers. It also offers a charging map and an app for drivers. For councils, it advises on strategy and funding, plans sites, builds, and then maintains the chargers. Its site says council projects can be delivered at no cost to the council.
Believ says it wants to build "one of the UK's most accessible, reliable, and future-ready" charging networks and that "no one should be left behind on the road to net zero". Its About page sets out its overarching mission as helping "deliver cleaner air for all through accelerating the transition to cleaner mobility", built on reliability, accessibility and fairness, with fairly priced charge points and no cost to taxpayers or businesses. It also says it invests in the communities it serves through social value work. Its charge points are said to run on 100% renewable energy. The company became a certified B Corporation in March 2025, a status that means independent checks on how it treats workers, communities and the environment.
Believ Limited is registered in England and Wales. One company page lists a registered office in Southwark, London, while the B Corp listing places its headquarters in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It has trialled on-street charging bays with the London boroughs of Waltham Forest, Newham and Redbridge, and describes a national presence across the UK. Its chief executive is Guy Bartlet.
Believ describes its own culture as action-oriented, straight-talking and proudly collaborative. Its values include accessibility, working with councils and industry, helping more drivers switch to electric, and community investment such as educational programmes. These are the company's own claims. Its B Corp scores are published, with its strongest scores in environment and workers.
Roles in a charging company include electrical and civil engineers, project and programme managers, council and public-affairs specialists, operations and maintenance staff, customer support, data and software roles, and marketing. The pages we read did not give a headcount, so ask about team size if you meet the company.
