The UK arm of a European fashion and lifestyle supply chain specialist, running large shared warehouses in Swindon, Magna Park near Lutterworth, Corby, Bury St Edmunds and Burton on Trent.
Bleckmann is a logistics company that specialises in supply chains for fashion and lifestyle brands. Its UK pages list freight forwarding by air, sea, road and rail, warehousing and fulfilment with extras such as labelling and packing, distribution and returns, customs support, and 'circular' services such as The Renewal Workshop. It also offers a Bscale service for start-up brands. Clients named on its UK pages include Gymshark, Superdry, Karl Lagerfeld, Otrium and Charles & Keith, and it says it was serving 60 brands from seven UK logistics centres in 2024, up from five clients in one warehouse four years earlier.
Bleckmann says it began UK operations in July 2017 at Swindon South Marston. Its UK timeline then adds Magna Park Tornado (May 2020), Swindon Trinity (July 2021), Bury St Edmunds (February 2022), Magna Park Vulcan (March 2022), Magna Park Corby (May 2024) and a takeover of Superdry's logistics at Burton on Trent from 1 July 2024. An April 2026 article reports a further large distribution centre at Lutterworth, with 761,932 square feet, due to be fully operational from July 2026, bringing its UK footprint to 420,000 square metres. We did not find a published mission statement or founding date; the company says it focuses on flexibility, scalability and customer experience.
The scale is clear from the UK site list. The 2024 page gives site sizes and job numbers: Burton on Trent about 240 staff joining, Corby about 250 expected, Magna Park Vulcan about 225, Bury St Edmunds 115 jobs created, Magna Park Tornado up to 350 plus 600 at peak, and Swindon about 190 across two sites. That adds up to roughly 1,400 people. The buildings include BREEAM-certified premises, and Tornado uses renewable energy. The company's COO for Belgium and the UK is Reinardt van Oel, and the UK Cluster Director is Tony Brito.
On people and culture, Mr Brito said in 2026 that clients 'see us as a catalyst for the expansion of their UK operations', and Mr van Oel said the UK is 'an important growth market for Bleckmann'. Those are the leaders' own words. We did not find a values page or staff stories, so the day-to-day feel of working in a Bleckmann warehouse is something to ask about directly. The focus on sustainability and on reusing and repairing clothes through its circular services suggests a company thinking about waste.
The jobs in a company like this include warehouse operatives who pick, pack and check orders, team leaders and shift managers, returns and quality-control staff who inspect and repack items, transport and customs coordinators, account managers who look after each brand, IT and systems specialists, and finance, health and safety and people teams. Because the sites are spread across several English towns, many jobs are open to people who live nearby. Check Bleckmann's own website for current roles.
