The London office of US investment firm The Carlyle Group, offering six-month investment and real estate internships in London.
The Carlyle Group is a global investment firm. It invests through private equity, credit and a secondaries business. In London its teams cover deal sourcing, research, valuing companies and checking the detail of deals before money is invested.
Carlyle's stated purpose is to "connect people, ideas, and capital to fuel growth for companies and performance for investors." That wording comes from its internship listing.
The internships we found are based in London, including a Benelux investment internship supporting Carlyle Europe Technology Partners and a London real estate internship. We did not retrieve a UK headcount or office address.
Carlyle says it values a wide range of experiences and viewpoints and has seven employee resource groups. It describes a culture where "ideas are openly shared and challenged". These are company claims; we found no independent culture information.
The Benelux investment internship (2026) lasted six months. It asked for a strong academic record, with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent for UK graduates, previous internship experience in a similar setting, and strong Excel and financial modelling skills. The listing's deadline was 19 June 2026 and it is now closed. Interns work on deal origination, due diligence, deal execution and monitoring. We saw no apprenticeships or school routes.
