About Cinven UK

Cinven is an international private equity firm founded in 1977. It buys and grows companies, mainly in Europe, and its people work as investors, analysts, in finance, legal, compliance, HR and investor relations.

Cinven has no formal mission on the pages we read, but it lists values: being bold, decisive and entrepreneurial; driven and rigorous; giving people the opportunity to succeed; believing in teams not individuals; and being considerate and socially responsible. It says its values "underpin everything we do".

Cinven's team page lists London as its biggest office by some distance, with offices in Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid, Milan, Luxembourg, New York and Guernsey too. The team page lists the London team by name, and Cinven Limited is registered in England. We did not find a street address.

Cinven describes a culture of working as "one team", with respectful debate, and says it supports three staff networks: Rainbow Alliance (LGBT+), EDGE (ethnic diversity) and GEDI (gender diversity). It also says it invests in staff development throughout their careers. These are Cinven's own claims.

The only UK early-careers item we found is a "Register Your Interest - HR Placement 2027" listing on the Higherin student site. It is a placement of 10 months or more based in London, but gives no deadline or details, and is in HR rather than investing. Cinven's own internship we found was in Frankfurt, not the UK. Its careers listings are on cinven.pinpointhq.com, so check there for London analyst or internship openings. We found no sourced UK graduate scheme or internship.
