Cityscape Digital

A London Bridge-based visualisation and planning-technology firm that makes images, films and digital tools to help developments through the planning process.

About Cityscape Digital

Cityscape Digital is an architectural visualisation and planning-technology firm in London. It makes realistic images, films and 3D models of buildings and places that are still being planned, and it also supports the planning process itself. Its own description lists visualisation, 3D modelling and animation, planning and urban design, systems for plan-making, planning applications and data management, community engagement, digital twins (computer copies of real places that stay up to date), dashboards and mobile apps. It also has its own platform called Catalyst, which it says supports a project from planning through to marketing, pre-letting, sales and asset management.

The company says it has been going since 2001 or 2002 (the sources differ; Companies House data quoted by a visa-sponsor directory gives 2002). It says it has completed more than 5,000 projects and usually has around 50 to 60 live sites at any time. It says it has supported some of the UK's most ambitious developments, though the page we read names no clients. We could not find a formal mission statement, so we have not invented one. What it does say is that it wants to help people understand developments and make decisions with better information.

Cityscape Digital is based at Printworks House, 7 Bermondsey Street, London SE1, close to London Bridge station. The visa-sponsor directory records about 51 UK staff, and the company holds a licence to sponsor skilled overseas workers. A Companies House filing for the year to February 2025 shows it as a small company. Its work is mainly for projects across the UK, but the London studio is where the team sits.

On people and culture, an organisation chart on TheOrg (marked unverified) shows a managing director, Peter Scott, with heads of planning and projects, planning production and commercial work, plus an art director for interactive technologies and a digital transformation consultant. It also lists a visualisation department, project managers, creative design and a planning department. The company describes its planning team as one of the largest in the UK. Glassdoor shows a 3.0 rating from a small number of reviews, which is a third-party view and not a claim by the company.

That mix of teams tells you what kinds of jobs exist: 3D artists and animators, art directors, project managers, planning specialists who prepare the evidence for applications, software and data people who build tools like Catalyst, and commercial staff who work with clients. It is a good example of how art, geography, architecture and computing skills can all meet in one company. For current openings, check the company's own website.
