A London-based, employee-owned consultancy that helps organisations deliver business change.
Clarasys is a management consultancy that helps organisations change how they work. In plain English, when a company wants to improve its processes, bring in new technology or get a project delivered, Clarasys sends in a small team to work alongside the client's own people, then leaves them able to carry on without help. It calls itself “The Experience Consultancy”. A PitchBook profile describes it as a management consulting firm in London serving industries such as financial services, healthcare and retail, with work in technology and customer experience change, data governance and process improvement.
A Silicon Review profile says Clarasys was established in 2010 as an independent consultancy, though the same article mentions its pro bono work starting in 2011 and PitchBook gives 2011, so the founding year is not settled. The article names Matt Cheung as chief executive, with more than 20 years in business change, previously at PwC Consulting and the Berkeley Partnership, and says he started the firm with two others, Claudia and Chris. PitchBook lists its base as Southwark Bridge Road in London and an employee count of 195; the Silicon Review says it also opened an office in Boston in the US.
We did not find a formal mission statement. A job listing says doing the right thing for clients comes first, teamwork matters more than individual success, and development is part of daily work. The Silicon Review says the firm aims to add value early while leaving clients with lasting capability, and describes a goal of a sustainable business serving clients globally.
Its work covers business change, technology and agile delivery (a way of working in short steps with frequent feedback). It also positions itself as a Salesforce partner, helping organisations manage the journey from sales pipeline to customer support. Clients range from small not-for-profits to multinational corporations. One distinctive part is the pro bono programme: six-week projects for charities, staffed by graduate consultants with support from an experienced consultant and a pro bono lead, and sometimes sourced through the Salesforce Foundation.
Consultants are based in London and mostly work at client sites in teams of three to five. The Financial Times named Clarasys among the UK's leading consultancies six years in a row, according to its chief executive (2026). The Silicon Review reports it ranked third in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies To Work For in 2019. A data profile calls it employee-owned, and a listing mentions weekly coaching and social events; treat these as third-party claims and ask the firm. The consultant role we found asked for one to five years of experience, so it was not a graduate role. The Silicon Review mentions graduate consultants on the pro bono programme, so graduate entry may exist, but we did not find a current graduate scheme or its entry requirements.
