Colliers UK is the British business of Colliers, a global professional services and investment management company that advises people who occupy, own and invest in property. In a March 2026 interview with CoStar, UK chief executive John Munday said the UK transactional and advisory business has more than 1,000 employees. About 73 per cent of its revenue comes from advisory work such as consultancy and valuation, and the rest from transactions such as selling and letting. He wants more balance between the two.
Mr Munday became chief executive in March 2025 after Tony Horrell, who led the UK business for 14 years. He joined in 2022 when Colliers partnered with Paragon, a building and project consultancy. The firm has reorganised into sector-based teams. For example, an industrial team brings together investment, leasing and advisory, and a One London team combines office and retail in the capital. Its priority areas include data centres, core London and regional city offices, housing for rent and living, hotels and industrial property.
We did not find a mission statement for Colliers UK in the sources we read, so we have not invented one. Mr Munday said he puts relationships first, with clients and employees at the centre of the business, describes a "family first approach" and a "people first strategy", and calls AI a tool to support surveyors rather than replace them. In the UK, a jobs-site profile lists offices in London and Bristol, and Companies House lists several UK Colliers companies, including Colliers International Property Advisers UK LLP and Colliers International Property Consultants Limited. A trade-press report mentions a move to new City of London offices, and the firm has a small head office of about 25 people in a decentralised structure, meaning local teams have a lot of independence. The interview also names Cadogan Estate's office portfolio of 500,000 square feet among recent advice, and new capital markets hires Mark Girling and James Fairweather. The company says it has operations in 67 countries.
Because Colliers UK spans advisory, agency and transactions, its people include surveyors, valuers, agents, capital markets advisers, asset managers, researchers, and staff in finance, human resources, marketing and technology.
