A UK equity crowdfunding platform that lets everyday people invest in growing businesses.
Crowdcube runs an online marketplace where ordinary people can invest in start-ups and growing companies, and where those companies can raise money from a crowd of investors. It says it has more than a million people in its investor community and has helped over a thousand businesses raise funds, with well-known names such as Monzo, BrewDog and what3words among them (company claims).
In its own words, "Our mission is to democratise investment". It wants to make investing more open to everyone and to help fuel the next generation of businesses.
Crowdcube Limited is registered in London, and a job listing describes hybrid roles based in London or Exeter (it also mentioned Paris). A 15 April 2026 Tech.eu report on the company shows it is still trading.
The company describes a flexible way of working it calls "Cuber Choice", where staff choose their hours and split time between home and office. It also claims a yearly learning and wellness budget, weekly product demos and monthly team meetings. These are the company's own claims, from an undated listing.
We did not find a graduate scheme or apprenticeship. The role we saw, an Equity Campaign Manager, is client-facing and asked for commercial focus, good communication and a genuine interest in start-ups and alternative finance. It is expired and undated, so check Crowdcube's careers page for current roles.
