About Crowe UK

Crowe U.K. LLP is a UK accountancy and advisory firm. It checks company accounts (audit), advises on tax, and helps businesses with advisory and consulting work across sectors such as financial services, manufacturing and real estate. Its clients include family and owner-managed businesses, listed companies, pension funds, private equity firms and non-profits. Its tagline is "Smart decisions. Lasting value."

It is the UK member of Crowe Global, a network of independent firms that Wikipedia says has more than 220 member firms and about 40,000 people worldwide. Each member firm is a separate legal entity. A Unifrog employer profile says Crowe UK was founded in 1843 and has about 1,400 employees in six UK locations: Cheltenham, Kent, London, Manchester, the Midlands and Thames Valley. Mitesh Patelia became chief executive on 1 July 2026, succeeding Nigel Bostock. He joined Crowe in 2008 and became a corporate finance partner in 2017. The earlier chief executive profile on Unifrog describes a leader who started as a graduate trainee in 1991, so the firm does promote from within.

We did not find a formal mission statement beyond the tagline. The firm's news release mentions "a culture where values are truly lived", and links to a Vision, Purpose and Values page that we could not read. Unifrog's profile describes the firm as big enough to be recognised in the sector but small enough to feel like a family, which is the firm's own description.

Services are Audit, Tax, Advisory and Consulting. The advisory side covers corporate finance, and the firm lists teams in areas such as Business Advisory and Accounting, Social Purpose and Non Profit Audit, and Financial Reporting. It also takes part in diversity programmes: 17 interns came through the 10,000 Black Interns programme and it welcomed its first interns through a partnership with The ABL Foundation, which supports disabled talent.

For young people, Crowe UK said on 9 September 2026 that it had welcomed 96 trainees across its offices. Its Unifrog profile describes five apprenticeship programmes across audit, tax, advisory and risk management, studying towards a Level 7 qualification (equivalent to a master's degree) and professional exams such as ACA, CTA, ACCA, AAT and ATT. The stated entry requirement is BBB or 112 UCAS points at A level plus GCSE maths and English at grade 4 or above, or a 2:2 degree for graduates, though candidates who miss a requirement may still be considered. Graduates qualify in about three years and school leavers in four to five. Selection includes an in-person assessment day with a group exercise, a presentation and an interview. First-year trainees are paired with a second-year buddy. Pay was not published. Details may change, so check Crowe's pages.
