DrDoctor

A London-born company whose software helps NHS hospitals book, remind and communicate with patients.

About DrDoctor

DrDoctor makes patient communication and scheduling software for the NHS. Hospitals use it to send appointment messages, let patients rebook and prepare for visits, and see their own information. It connects to NHS electronic patient records.

Its mission is to help the NHS gain the productivity benefits of hybrid healthcare, moving toward care that is "proactive, personal, and built around people's lives". Its values are be bold, be compassionate and aim high.

DrDoctor says it was born in London, after founders who had worked as NHS consultants set out in 2012 to fix outpatient scheduling, with a first pilot in 2013 at Guy's and St Thomas'. It says it works with more than 70 NHS trusts and health boards. It also has a delivery team that works on site with NHS staff.

A staff member quoted on its About page says the business is inclusive with no "them and us" feeling. That is the company's own presentation. We did not find headcount or office addresses.
