The UK arm of US medicines company Eli Lilly, with sites in Basingstoke, Bracknell, Windlesham and Speke and 12-month placements.
Eli Lilly and Company is a pharmaceutical company. In the UK it does research and development, commercial work such as sales and marketing, and manufacturing and supply.
Its UK student page says it looks for "the next generation of talented, ambitious and committed" people who think differently to develop innovative solutions, with the aim of making a difference to patients' lives. We did not find a separate formal mission line.
The ABPI directory lists UK sites at Windlesham in Surrey (research and development), Basingstoke in Hampshire (research and development and commercial) and Speke in Merseyside (manufacturing and supply). The student page names Basingstoke and Bracknell as placement bases.
The student page describes a mentor from another team and monthly check-ins for placement students, typical 9 to 5 hours with flexibility, and 25 days' holiday. These are the company's own claims.
Entry routes are a 12-month undergraduate placement starting in July with tracks in Technology and data and Science and business, plus 10-week MBA internships. The ABPI directory also lists a graduate training programme and sandwich placements. We did not find apprenticeship details. Salary is described as competitive without a figure.
