A UK consulting firm founded in 2009, based in the City of London and listed on the London Stock Exchange. It recruits graduate analysts in London.
Elixirr is a consulting firm that advises large companies on strategy, operations, technology and digital change. In plain terms, businesses call it in to work out how to grow, how to run better, or how to use data and AI. It has its headquarters in the City of London and offices in the UK, US, Europe and South Africa. Key sectors named by its founder include financial services, retail and consumer goods, and energy and utilities.
Elixirr was founded in 2009 by Stephen Newton and Graham Busby, both former Accenture consultants, with the aim of building a firm that could challenge the big consultancies. Newton is the founder and chief executive, with nearly 30 years in consulting; Busby became deputy chief executive at the start of 2025. Newton says he saw how slowly many large corporate firms approached innovation and wanted to make real change in businesses. A 2025 article put the workforce above 500 people. Its graduate listing says it moved to the main market of the London Stock Exchange in July 2025.
We did not find a formal mission statement. Newton's profile on Elixirr's site says the goal is to build one of the world's best consulting firms, with an emphasis on “future-first solutions” and an entrepreneurial, ownership mindset. These are the firm's own words.
Elixirr has grown by adding smaller founder-led firms: Coast Digital (digital marketing), Retearn (procurement consulting), iOLAP (data analytics), Responsum (AI software), Insignia (transformation consulting) and Hypothesis (insights research). Alongside traditional strategic and operational consulting it offers executive immersions and a growing amount of digital, data and AI work. An investor article names clients including Allianz, Barclays, Chanel, Diageo, GSK, HSBC, L'Oréal and Mercedes-Benz.
On culture, Elixirr's site says it gave all employees, from analysts to partners, the chance to take part in an equity scheme so they act like owners; an investor article quotes the firm describing a “high-performance culture” where “B teams don't exist”. The graduate listing adds promotions every quarter based on merit rather than length of service, ownership from day one, and most graduates placed on projects in their first week with early exposure to senior client people. For young people, the 2027 Graduate Analyst role is based in London with a start in summer 2027. It is open to graduates in any subject and asks for strong written and spoken communication, good Excel and PowerPoint skills, teamwork and willingness to travel at short notice. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK because visas are not sponsored. The listing gives no salary or closing date, so check Elixirr's careers site.
