Elwood Technologies

A London fintech firm that builds trading and portfolio software for institutions that deal in digital assets.

About Elwood Technologies

Elwood Technologies is an FCA-regulated firm that provides digital asset trading, access to liquidity and portfolio monitoring and risk software. Its platform connects banks, funds and other institutions to crypto exchanges and custodians through a single connection.

We did not find a formal mission statement. The company describes its product as "Built with institutions for institutions", and a job listing says the aim is to build institutional-grade trading and portfolio tools.

Elwood has its main office in central London (Soho), with offices in New York and Singapore. Its 2026 summer internship listing shows it was recruiting in London this year.

It describes itself as a fast-growing start-up with a client-focused team from diverse backgrounds, and lists benefits such as medical and dental cover, parental leave and paid study leave. These are the company's own claims.

This sector has clearer entry routes than most. A Sales Internship (8 weeks from July 2026, £10.85 an hour) asked for an undergraduate or recent graduate in economics, business or finance with the right to work in the UK; applications closed on 9 August 2026. A 24-month graduate software engineering scheme (rotations across UI, backend, DevOps and market connectivity, STEM degree, £50,000 starting salary) was also listed, but is closed and was posted more than six months ago. Check Elwood's careers page for the next intake.
