About EQT UK

EQT is a global investment organisation that began in Sweden. It invests across private capital, infrastructure, real estate and venture capital, and its teams include investors, sustainability specialists, product and technology staff, and finance and compliance roles.

EQT describes itself as purpose-driven. Its stated purpose is to "future-proof companies and generate attractive returns" while making a positive impact, and its values are High-Performing, Respectful, Entrepreneurial, Informal and Transparent. Its roots lie in the Wallenberg family's long-term ownership philosophy. All of this is EQT's own wording.

EQT works in more than 25 countries. Its careers pages list London roles such as Product Lead, Investment Value Stream and Team Lead, Evergreen Product Management, Private Capital. Its Investment Professional Associate postings cover London among several European offices, including Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Paris, Stockholm and Zurich. We did not find a street address.

EQT describes a collaborative, low-ego culture in which, in a staff quote on its site, "ideas win on merit, not hierarchy", and lists flexible working and parental support. These are company claims.

We found two London internships. An EQT Ventures VC Platform Intern post (published 1 April 2025, with a deadline of 11 April) was for a minimum of six months in London, asked for UK right to work with no visa sponsorship, and covered portfolio support, fund operations and research. A separate two-month Intern, Private Capital Sustainability role in London appeared on an aggregator site, with no date. Pay was not stated for either. EQT's main investing route for early-career people is Associate roles, which prefer 1 to 4 years of experience, and it also runs an Associate talent community and a Financial Modelling training programme. These intern posts are from 2025, so check EQT's careers page for the next round.
