Fidelity International

A global investment business with UK graduate programmes and summer internships based in London.

About Fidelity International

Fidelity International is a global investment business that manages money for clients, including pension schemes, companies and ordinary savers who hold funds, ISAs or pensions through it. Investment managers research companies and markets, decide where to put clients' money, and try to grow it over the long term. It also runs platforms where people can buy and manage investments.

Wikipedia says Fidelity International was established in 1969 as the international investment arm of a Fidelity entity in Boston, and became an independent business in 1980. It opened a London office in 1973. It is a private company, and Wikipedia lists its headquarters as Pembroke, Bermuda, with Abigail Johnson as chairman. Its careers site says it has offices in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Asia Pacific, India and Bermuda, and a graduate-onboarding article says early talent joins across the UK, India and China. We did not find a list of its UK offices, though its graduate and internship listings are based in London.

Its purpose, in its own words, is "to work together to build better financial futures". Its careers site lists two values, integrity (doing the right thing every time and putting clients first) and trust (empowering each other to take initiative), and four behaviours: brave, bold, curious and compassionate.

Its services cover investment management, pension management and fund platforms for private and institutional investors, according to Wikipedia. Early-careers areas listed on its careers site include equity research, fixed income, sustainable investing, sales and marketing, and technology, plus multi asset teams, which look at how to spread money across different kinds of investments.

The company describes its culture as welcoming, caring and inclusive, with an emphasis on integrity and long-term thinking, and says it offers flexible working. These are its own claims. Its graduate onboarding is built around growth mindset and self-awareness, with quarterly workshops on change, sustainability, influencing and leadership, and it reports high learning ratings from 2024 graduates (its own figures). The Multi Asset Summer Internship 2027 in London is a 10-week, full-time, in-person programme for students in the penultimate year of any degree who graduate in 2028. It involves research on asset allocation, projects and presenting recommendations, includes a week-one induction, technical training, a buddy and weekly drop-ins with the early-careers team, and successful interns may be considered for the Graduate Programme. Applications close on 15 November 2026 (recruitment is rolling, so apply early). Online assessments take about 40 minutes, and pay was not stated. The company also lists graduate programmes, apprenticeships and a Summer Talent Academy for Black students.
