Flok Health

A UK digital physiotherapy provider that runs app-based muscle and joint care with NHS trusts, using AI-supported assessment and human clinicians.

About Flok Health

Flok Health offers physiotherapy through an app. A patient starts with a video assessment on their phone, the system decides whether they can be treated digitally, and many then have weekly video appointments and can send voice messages to the clinical team. It also offers same-day back pain appointments.

Flok does not publish a formal mission in the pages we read. Chief executive Finn Stevenson says: "Our goal is to continue to deliver gold-standard MSK care at population scale" (MSK means muscle and bone conditions).

A February 2026 report says Flok's service runs in 11 NHS areas in England, including Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Airedale, South Yorkshire and Northamptonshire plus three London boroughs. A job listing on the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy site shows digital physiotherapist roles. We did not find a headquarters address.

Co-founders are Finn Stevenson, a medicine and musculoskeletal medicine graduate, and Ric da Silva, chief technology officer. The company was apparently set up around 2022, which is our inference from a 2025 article.

Roles seen were for qualified physiotherapists, so the main route in is to train as a physio first. We did not find graduate or apprenticeship schemes; check Flok's careers page and the CSP jobs board.
