Fresha

A booking and payments platform for salons, barbers and spas, with a consumer app for booking. Its headquarters is in London, and it lists over 130,000 partner businesses.

About Fresha

Fresha is a platform for booking self-care appointments. People use it to find and book hair, beauty, massage and wellness services near them. Businesses such as salons, barbers and spas use Fresha's software to run their diary, take bookings and payments, and manage their teams. Fresha's own site says it has handled over a billion appointments, with more than 130,000 partner businesses and 450,000 stylists and professionals in over 120 countries.

We could not confirm Fresha's founders or founding year from the pages we read, so we have not stated them. What we can say is that Fresha's headquarters was announced as a move to WeWork Waterloo on London's South Bank in a company post in 2021, describing growth "in the UK and beyond", and that its consumer site covers the UK among roughly 28 countries.

Fresha's products include the consumer booking app and the business software that sits behind it, which it describes as "one solution, one software". The company has also reported that a growing share of bookings now comes through AI assistants such as Google's Gemini.

We did not find a formal mission statement in the sources we read.

For young people, Fresha is a good example of how software built for everyday small businesses can scale worldwide from London, with roles likely in engineering, product, data and customer teams. We did not find its careers page or an early-careers programme, so check its website for current openings.
