A digital software consultancy that designs and builds digital products, listed as a UK government supplier.
gravity9 is a digital software consultancy. In plain terms, it helps companies design and build software and apps, and update old computer systems so they work better. Its website says it helps clients automate processes with “agentic AI” (software that can carry out multi-step tasks on its own), build intelligent digital products and modernise ageing applications step by step rather than through one big rebuild. Its tagline is “Build what comes next. At pace.”
The Sunday Times Fast Track list says gravity9 was founded in 2017 by Noel Ady. Its UK government supplier page says it was founded in Birmingham, where it keeps a key presence, and that staff work fully remotely using shared serviced offices as needed. The company is registered as Gravity 9 Solutions Limited. Its homepage says it has “9x” offices across three continents without listing them, and a July 2025 article reported a new office in Canada, its tenth overseas site. We did not find a full UK office list.
We did not find a mission statement or values page. The nearest thing to a statement of purpose is the homepage tagline, and the government page says the team focuses on fast, rigorous results.
Its work is organised around intelligent business automation, smarter product engineering (using AI tools to deliver faster with fewer defects) and AI-led application modernisation, plus an accelerator framework and open-source work. The website says it is the “#1 MongoDB Global Implementation Partner 2025” (its own claim) and shows client logos including Allianz, Barclays, Bosch, Ford, HSBC, IKEA, Lidl, Sainsbury's and Siemens. The government listing also names projects: a customer-service hub for BT, an automated door-lock product for American Homes for Rent and a sales-promotion system for Venetian Casinos. It works on Microsoft Azure and says it has practices in design, engineering, DevOps (the practices that keep software releases smooth), quality assurance and AI. It lists hotels and casinos, healthcare and the public sector as industries. It claims a client-given score of +88 and two years on the Sunday Times Top 100 fastest-growing list.
We found little about daily culture. A “Meet the gravity9ers” blog series profiles team members, including the UK-based AI Practice Lead, which suggests an engineering-led team. We did not find graduate schemes, internships, apprenticeships or entry requirements, so check gravity9's own careers page for current roles.
