About Havas London

Havas London is the flagship creative agency of Havas UK. It makes advertising and campaigns for clients including Reckitt, Asda, Molson Coors, Kraft Heinz, EDF, the Department for Education and the Open University. Its work includes Durex's "Let's Not Go Back to Normal", The Black Plaque Project, the DfE's "Every Lesson Shapes a Life" and the Open University's "The Future is Open". Other clients on its UK pages include Vanish, JBL, Birds Eye, Domino's, Tesco, Starbucks and NHS Blood and Transplant.

The agency says its mission is "to make a meaningful difference to the businesses, the brands and the lives of the people we work with". Havas UK also calls itself the only truly integrated marketing and communications company in the UK. The wider Havas group traces its roots to 1835 in France, when Charles-Louis Havas founded what is described as the world's first news agency, and works in more than 100 countries. Havas London became the first major ad agency to gain B Corp certification in 2018, though Wikipedia reports it lost that status in July 2024 over work for Shell.

Havas London shares a single building with other Havas agencies, called the Havas Village, at 3 Pancras Square, King's Cross, London N1C 4AG. The idea is that around 20 specialist agencies, covering advertising, media, data, social, PR and sports, work under one leadership and one set of accounts so teams can be built around each client. Havas CX helia, a customer data and engagement agency, is based in London and Cirencester. Other group agencies include Uncommon in London and Havas Lynx in Manchester. Havas London's profile also mentions links with Vivendi, Universal Music Group, Canal+ and StudioCanal.

On its pages the agency's culture is about teams that sit together and work as one across disciplines. Its profile mentions a page about how it supports new talent. Leadership has changed lately: an earlier profile names Xavier Rees as chief executive and Vicki Maguire as chief creative officer, but Rees has since moved to AMV BBDO, and Patrick Affleck was reported as chief executive of Havas UK and Ireland Village in 2026. A headcount was not stated.

The Village model means roles are varied. People work in creative teams, strategy, account management, data, media, social, PR, design and production, sometimes in the same client team. Because the group covers 20 businesses under one roof, someone starting in one area can see how other disciplines work.
