A Farnborough software company whose cloud tools help airlines, airports and fuel suppliers manage aviation fuel more smartly and with fewer emissions.
i6 Group provides aviation fuel management technology for airlines, airports, fuel service providers and fuel suppliers. Its products include Reconcile6 for fuel inventory and accounting, Fusion6 for managing fuel put into aircraft, eHandshake, a patented electronic refuelling system, and Perspective6 and Synthesis6 for information and commercial fuel management. The company says its technology is used at over 300 airports and that customers have cut thousands of tonnes of carbon dioxide.
i6 states its vision as "Fueling aviation intelligence for a better tomorrow", aiming to drive operational efficiency and environmental accountability around the world. Its values spell PACE: Professional Pride, Anticipate and Act, Customer Centric, and Excellence Everywhere. A job posting says it looks for people who are passionate about sustainable technology, product excellence and aviation.
The company's timeline begins in 2015, when its chief executive Steve and chief operating officer Alex combined their aviation experience to build fuel management technology. Its head office is at Farnborough Airport in Hampshire, with a second UK office listed in Manchester, and it has offices in the USA, Canada and the UAE. Its About page names customers including British Airways, which it calls its launch customer, Virgin Atlantic, London City Airport and Farnborough Airport. It cites more than 100 employees (company claim). A Deployment Specialist listing in Farnborough was removed in February 2026, so it was still recruiting that year.
A 2026 posting describes a remote-first company, where some teams meet in the office about once a month and the whole company gathers for one day each quarter. Benefits listed include 25 days of leave plus a birthday day off, private healthcare and a 5 per cent pension contribution. It also says it offsets its team's carbon footprint through Ecologi. These are the company's own claims.
We did not find a graduate scheme, internship or apprenticeship. The Deployment Specialist role involved running customer installations from contract to go-live, training users and travelling to aviation sites, and the stated ideal was aviation experience or familiarity with i6's products plus good technical and project skills. A separate posting said i6 planned to hire across its functions in 2025 and invited people to send a CV and short introduction to its talent team. Check the i6 careers page for entry-level roles.
