A UK investment manager, owned by BNY, with graduate roles in London and Manchester and a rotational graduate programme.
Insight Investment is an investment manager that looks after money for clients such as pension schemes. It focuses on areas including liability-driven investment (helping pension funds match what they owe), fixed income, currency and multi-asset strategies.
Insight says it gives investors a different approach: it puts the certainty of meeting a client's chosen goal ahead of the traditional focus on maximising return, and it tailors portfolios to each client's desired outcome. That is the firm's own description.
A graduate listing says the programme is based in London or Manchester. The same listing says Insight has around 1,120 employees across the UK, Ireland, Germany, the US, Japan and Australia, and that it is owned by BNY but makes its own investment decisions. Founded in 2002.
Insight describes its early careers programme as looking for self-motivated people who take responsibility for their own performance, with collaboration and teamwork seen as essential. Each graduate gets a mentor and a buddy from the previous cohort. These are the company's own claims, so ask current graduates how it feels in practice. It also says it is committed to being an inclusive employer.
The route we found is a rotational graduate programme lasting one or two years across several divisions. The 2026 intake started in July 2026 and applications closed on 1 August 2025. It asked for graduates finishing in 2026 with strong analytical and communication skills and a real interest in financial markets. Pay was not stated, and we did not find an apprenticeship or internship route. Check Insight's careers site for the next intake.
