IQVIA UK

The UK arm of a global clinical research and healthcare data company, with offices in London and Reading.

About IQVIA UK

IQVIA helps medicines get from the lab to patients. It runs clinical research, which means testing new treatments in people, and it also provides healthcare data, analytics and technology to the life sciences industry and to health systems.

Its own wording is that it is "a world leader in using data, technology, advanced analytics and human expertise" to help drive healthcare forward, and that it invests in "advancing human health". For the UK it says it is "committed to bring UK Healthcare forward".

IQVIA's UK page lists offices at Paddington in London and at Forbury Place in Reading. Its UK work includes support for NHS and other healthcare organisations, real-world evidence and pharmacy communications. Some graduate listings also mention Northern Ireland and other regions for field-based staff.

We did not find culture statistics we could verify, so ask current staff and read the careers site for how teams work. Clinical research roles can involve working with hospitals and study teams, sometimes from home as well as the office.

The clearest early-career route is the Graduate Programme internship: a paid, nine-month fixed-term role in clinical research for graduates with a science or healthcare degree. It follows a training curriculum to become a clinical research associate and may lead to a permanent job, but this is not guaranteed. The 2025 round closed on 26 May 2025, and the role was not eligible for UK visa sponsorship. IQVIA also ran a 12-week internship in 2022 with project-management qualification support.
