Iris

A creative agency network founded in London in 1999 that started in promotional marketing and now works across brand, digital and live experiences.

About Iris

Iris is a creative agency network. It began in 1999 as a sales-promotion business and now offers integrated strategy and creative across brand, performance marketing, commercial consultancy, customer experience, search and retail media, social media and live experiences. It also runs a cultural trends studio. Its own site lists six service areas: Integrated Creative; PR, Social and Influencer; Partnerships and Experiential; CRO, Pricing, Data and Analytics; Performance Marketing; and Healthcare. Clients named in a 2025 article include Samsung, Pizza Hut, adidas, NIVEA, California Pizza Kitchen and Formula E. Past work includes the London 2012 Olympic mascots Wenlock and Mandeville.

In 2025, for its 25th anniversary, Iris launched a new identity built around the motto "Participate or Perish". It says its goal is to make meaningful connections in people's lives, cultures and communities. A separate Iris rebrand article describes a proposition "For the Forward" and a commitment to "bold leaps". Its sales-promotion roots, it says, give it a focus on real behaviour change.

Iris was founded in 1999 by seven co-founders in their twenties, partly in reaction to big-agency politics, and is headquartered in London. A 2025 article says Iris London has about 200 people, out of about 500 worldwide. Leaders named there are Zoe Eagle (London CEO, joined November 2024), Menno Kluin (Chief Creative Officer, joined October 2024) and co-founder Ian Millner. Its London page gives the address as 10 Queen Street Place, EC4R 1BE, calls London the global HQ, and names heads of production, performance marketing, PR and partnerships, social and influencer, and innovation (AI and creative technology) alongside the senior leaders.

Iris describes its culture as curious, experimental and entrepreneurial, with an outsider mindset. It says it is small enough to stay agile, with no separate profit-and-loss accounts or departmental silos. These are the agency's own claims reported in the press. It also says it is channel-agnostic, meaning it picks the right media for the idea rather than starting with one format. Its own site calls Iris "the integrated creative micro-network driving brands to show up and participate in people's lives" and says it "grew up in the real world" rather than in the advertising industry.

The mix of services suggests a mix of jobs: creatives and designers, strategists, data and search specialists, social and content teams, experience and event producers, and account and project managers. If you like variety, a network that does brand work, retail media and live events together gives you room to move across teams.
