Jigsaw is a British fashion brand that sells clothing for women, men and girls. Its menswear range launched in 1994, and its girls' range, Jigsaw Junior, was established in 1996. It sells through its own shops, concessions inside other stores, and its website. As of August 2019, Wikipedia says it had about 80 stores across the UK, and it also operates in Ireland, the Netherlands and Australia.
The business was started in 1970 by John Robinson. According to Wikipedia, he and a partner called Webster returned to Istanbul to source sheepskin coats, an early product for the company. The brand later grew into a wider womenswear name known for smart, well-cut everyday clothes. The company is jointly owned by Best Dressed Group and Robinson Property. We did not find a mission or values statement in the sources we read, and we have not invented one.
Jigsaw's head office is on Water Lane in Richmond, South West London. We could not find a current headcount: the Wikipedia entry gives a figure of 28 employees for 2016 and 2017, which cannot represent the whole company and probably refers to a single registered entity, so we have not used it. Its stores are spread across UK high streets and shopping centres, and a search result mentioned a store in Chiswick, west London.
