Kaluza

A London-headquartered energy software company that helps energy suppliers run customer service and a cleaner, smarter grid.

About Kaluza

Kaluza calls itself the Energy Intelligence Platform. Its software helps energy companies run their operations and serve customers, and helps them coordinate things like smart charging and flexible power use as the world moves to clean energy. It is used by utilities and large companies in Europe, Australia, Japan and North America.

We did not find a formal mission statement. A job page says it helps make clean energy dependable and affordable, and a company announcement talks about 'accelerating the world's journey to net zero'.

Its headquarters is listed in Notting Hill Gate, London, and it also has offices across Europe, North America, Australia and Japan. Kaluza began inside the UK energy supplier OVO and was founded by Stephen Fitzpatrick; it now operates as an independent platform. We did not find a headcount.

Its values are 'Play to win, Solve the real problem, Build trust every day, Own the outcome, Go further together'. It says it recognises talent on the basis of merit and potential, offers flexible working, and lists benefits from day one including 26 days of holiday plus 8 flexible bank holidays, learning budgets and private medical cover.

We did not find a graduate scheme, apprenticeship or internship. The roles we saw were engineering and design posts for experienced people, so check the careers site for early-career openings.
