About Kaplan UK

Kaplan Financial provides accountancy and financial services training in the UK and overseas, through training centres, home study and online learning. Wikipedia says it serves more than 48,000 students a year and teaches AAT, ACA, ACCA and CIMA, plus investment and risk qualifications.

Kaplan as a whole is a global education company that was founded in 1938 in Stanley Kaplan's home in Brooklyn. A jobs-site profile says its aim was to help the children of immigrants 'advance their dream of going to college', and that today it is committed to expanding access to education.

Kaplan Financial began in 1958 as the Financial Training Company and joined Kaplan in 2003. Wikipedia lists around two dozen UK training centres as of 2018, including London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff. A jobs-site profile lists Kaplan offices in London and Bristol.
