A London seed venture firm that shares part of its fund profits with the founders it backs.
Kindred Capital is a London-based seed and early-stage venture firm that invests in technology companies. It often backs founders at the earliest stage and follows on into later rounds.
Its distinctive idea is what it calls Equitable Venture: it shares part of the fund's profits with the founders it backs, and over 70 founders co-own a share of the fund (company claim).
Kindred is based in London and was founded in 2015. A 2020 article quotes partner Leila Zegna on its second fund. The team page names five general partners: Leila Zegna, Mark Evans, Chrys Chrysanthou, Maria Palma and John Cassidy. We did not find 2026 evidence.
The general partners say they had together backed more than 100 companies before founding Kindred. We did not find a culture or values statement.
We found no graduate scheme, internship or vacancies. Check Kindred's website for roles.
