Kreston Reeves

A South East England accountancy, business and wealth advice firm with graduate and school leaver training in audit, accounts, outsourcing and tax.

About Kreston Reeves

Kreston Reeves is a firm of accountants, business advisers and wealth (personal money) advisers in London and the South East of England. In plain terms, it helps businesses check and prepare their accounts, work out their tax, and plan for growth, and it helps individuals and families plan their finances. It describes itself as "so much more than just accountants, business and wealth advisers". Its student programmes place people in audit (checking that a company's accounts are accurate), accounts, outsourcing (running a client's finance tasks for them) and tax teams.

The firm has a long history. According to its own history page, James Worsfold founded a land, insurance and stockbroking business in Dover in 1821, and Frank Reeves was practising as an accountant in London from around 1897. Over the next century and a half the Worsfold and Reeves lines joined with many Kent practices. The firm became "Reeves" in 2010 and took the name Kreston Reeves in 2015 to reflect its membership of the Kreston international network of accountancy firms. It merged with Spofforths in 2016, Munslows in 2017 and the corporate finance specialist SamCorp in 2018. Wikipedia and the firm's history page also report a 2026 combination with the Scottish firm AAB, with Kreston Reeves acting as the group's hub for London and the South East. Wikipedia lists a headquarters in Canterbury, 447 employees and 49 partners; a separate UK ranking showed about 484 employees, so treat headcount as approximate.

Its stated purpose is to guide clients, colleagues and communities to a brighter future. Its values are Understand, Look ahead, Make it personal, Be crystal clear and Be human. The firm says it gained B Corp certification in 2023, which it calls a major milestone in being a purpose-led firm. A B Corp is a company independently assessed against standards on how it treats people, communities and the environment. This is the firm's own claim, so check the B Corp directory if it matters to you.

Kreston Reeves works in areas including accountancy, audit and assurance, tax, corporate finance, forensic accounting (investigating financial records) and wealth management, as listed by Wikipedia. Offices are in London, Brighton, Chichester, Canterbury, Chatham, Horsham and Sandwich (at Discovery Park). It is a member of the Kreston Global network, which helps clients with international work, and was ranked 24th in the Accountancy Today Top 30 for 2025.

For young people, Kreston Reeves recruits both graduates and school leavers, with apprenticeships offered in Kent, Sussex and London. Training uses block release (time away from the office for study) with exams over about three years, and the qualifications it names are CFAB, ACA, ACCA and ATT. Graduates were asked for a 2:1 (or a 2:2 with good A levels), and everyone needed GCSE Maths and English at grades 5 to 9. These details come from a page referring to an August 2024 start, so check current requirements. The firm's history page says its reputation was built by its people and notes that "it's often said that it's the people you work with that make a job special." That is its own description of its culture.
