About Macmillan Education

Macmillan Education is a global education publisher. It makes materials and services for learning English and for teaching international curricula in schools, and it works with Ministries of Education to develop teaching and learning resources. It has two divisions: Language Learning and Curriculum.

We did not find a formal mission statement. Its managing director says "Advancing learning is at the heart of what we do." Its values emphasise quality, trust, innovation and supporting teachers and students.

The company traces its roots to 1843, when brothers Daniel and Alexander Macmillan founded it. Wikipedia describes it as based in London, operating in more than 120 countries, and part of the Springer Nature group; its own pages mention a presence in over 100 countries through distributors and booksellers. Staff numbers were not given.

Roles named on its work-with-us page range from editorial to marketing, and it says it welcomes both experienced people and those new to the workplace. Springer Nature group colleagues hire through the group careers site.

We did not find a named graduate scheme, apprenticeship or internship, pay or requirements. Check the Springer Nature careers site and filter for UK roles.
