A London investment firm with a Technology Graduate Programme of 18 to 24 months in London.
Marshall Wace is an investment firm registered as an investment adviser. Its technology teams build the systems behind its work, including systematic trading models, data pipelines and the platforms that engineers use.
We did not find a formal mission statement. Its early talent page says technology is "at our core" and lists values including "Shoot for the moon", "Lead the way", "Build value" and "Agile minds".
The Technology Graduate Programme is offered in London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore, and Bright Network lists London-based Marshall Wace graduate and intern roles. We did not find other UK offices.
Marshall Wace describes its teams as lean, with early-career staff getting real ownership of projects and being encouraged to question the status quo. It calls its recruitment "thorough and challenging, but human." These are the firm's own claims. Support includes mentoring and seminars with senior leaders.
The route we found is the Technology Graduate Programme: 18 to 24 months of rotations through up to six engineering teams (for example software development, data engineering and infrastructure), for roles starting in 2027. You do not need a computer science degree, but you need experience with at least one programming language and should show technical skills through projects, internships or hackathons. Pay was not stated. We did not find a route into investment roles, a school-leaver route or exact dates.
