Medica Group

A UK teleradiology company, based in Hastings, that reports on patient scans remotely for hospitals and also employs sonographers.

About Medica Group

Medica is a UK teleradiology company. Hospitals send it scans such as X-rays and CT scans, and its radiologists review them remotely and send reports back to support diagnosis and care. A local newspaper report describes scans being "managed, reported and returned to hospitals". It also advertises sonographer (ultrasound) roles.

We did not find a formal mission statement. Its job pages say it focuses on growing and developing its people and on inclusion, and state: "We celebrate difference and encourage everyone to be themselves at work."

Its head office is in Hastings, East Sussex, with a London office, and some roles are hybrid or home-based, according to its job advert. Its job pages also advertise roles in Ireland. Its advert says it provides services to over 50% of the NHS, which is its own claim.

It lists flexible working, a work-life balance focus and continued learning among its offers, and says it is a 2024 Circle Back Initiative employer, promising to respond to every applicant. These are the company's own statements.

For young people, the clearest sourced route is work experience: in July 2026 it hosted five students from local schools in its operations and IT teams, reported in the Sussex Express in August 2026. Its clinical fellowships (listed at £70,000) are for qualified radiologists, so they are a long-term goal rather than an entry route. We did not find apprenticeships or a graduate scheme, so check its careers page.
