A London-based digital wealth manager offering ISAs, pensions and managed portfolios.

About Moneyfarm

Moneyfarm is a digital wealth manager, which means you invest online and experts look after the choices for you. In the UK it offers stocks and shares ISAs (tax-free investing accounts), pensions (SIPPs) and general investment accounts. You can pick a managed portfolio matched to your attitude to risk, build your own, or mix both. Its tagline is "Build your wealth, your way", and Wikipedia reports a minimum investment of £500 as at 2025.

Moneyfarm began in Milan, Italy. Wikipedia names Paolo Galvani and Giovanni Dapra as its founders, with Galvani as chairman and Dapra as chief executive. Dapra is described elsewhere as co-founder, and Dame Jayne-Anne Gadhia chairs the UK business. There is a small mismatch in dates: Wikipedia says 2011 while Moneyfarm's own jobs page says it was founded in Milan in 2012, so we say only that it started in the early 2010s. Its jobs page lists three offices: London (head office, in Angel, about 70 people), Milan (about 100) and Cagliari in Sardinia (about 30). The UK arm is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and the Italian arm by CONSOB.

Moneyfarm's stated vision is to "help more people improve their financial wellbeing by making personal investing simple and accessible through technology". A 2022 Italian company post calls making investing simple and open to everyone its "guiding star" and says the company combines technology with human expertise.

Products named by Wikipedia include ISA, general investment and SIPP accounts, an ESG range (investments chosen with environmental and social factors in mind) and portfolios across seven risk levels. A digital pension launched in March 2018. Moneyfarm also builds technology for others: it has licensed its platform to M&G for a UK investment product, and in Italy it works with Poste Italiane on an offer called Postefuturo Investimenti. Wikipedia lists Allianz and Poste Italiane among its investors.

On its jobs page Moneyfarm calls itself "down-to-earth, honest and driven" and says its values include "Relationships are our first asset" and "Trust drives success". It describes a diverse, fast-growing, customer-first team in relaxed offices, with flexible working, private healthcare and fee-free investing on its own products. Interviews include one-to-one meetings with several team members and a final talk with HR. Job boards show roles such as wealth manager, investment consultant, operations and product marketing, plus finance intern postings. We did not find a formal graduate scheme, so check the careers page for internships.
