Oaklin

A UK management consultancy with a London office and a graduate Business Analyst scheme.

About Oaklin

Oaklin is a management consultancy based in London. Organisations hire it to help them decide on a plan, change how they work, or deliver a large project such as a new computer system. Its Business Analysts work on varied projects, from designing new business models to putting new systems into practice, for clients that include FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies and UK central government departments. A Business Analyst is an entry-level consultant who researches, analyses and helps run the project.

A 2019 Consultancy.uk article says Oaklin was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in London. Its website says it is independent and has worked for over a decade across sectors, from multinationals to start-ups and public institutions. It trades as Oaklin Consulting LLP. In 2026 it bought a smaller firm called BTD to strengthen its work on mergers and acquisitions (helping companies buy, sell or join together).

Oaklin describes itself as an "antidote to management consultancies". It says it hires only top talent, does not work to sales targets, and is open with clients about when it can and cannot help. We did not find a formal mission statement. Its responsible business commitments cover diversity, equity and inclusion, a women's network, and social and environmental responsibility.

The website lists services in strategy; mergers, integration and growth; customer experience; innovation; commercial advice; digital and cloud transformation; data and AI; programme and project delivery; business improvement; and people, organisation and change. It organises work as innovate (shape the strategy), design (build the solution) and deliver (run the programme and manage the people side of change). Named sectors are automotive, aerospace and defence, transport, energy, and healthcare and life sciences, and a 2019 article also listed financial services, retail, manufacturing, media, public sector and telecoms.

Placements are in the London office or at client sites across the UK and abroad, with relocation support for people moving to London. Oaklin says it is a supportive and "genuinely meritocratic" workplace with structured training, a dedicated career mentor and small employee groups called Oaklin Family, plus monthly socials and Family Days. It was named a UK Best Workplace in 2025 by Great Place To Work UK and appears in the Financial Times and Statista list of leading UK management consultancies for five years running (its own claims). The September 2026 Business Analyst scheme paid £36,000 plus a discretionary bonus, with a 6% matched pension and 25 days' leave. It asked for a 2:1 in any subject and the right to work in the UK (as at the 2025 listing). Applications ran 27 October to 17 November 2025, with an online assessment, a video interview and an assessment day in London in January 2026. Check Oaklin for the next round.
