The London arm of the global Ogilvy network, making advertising, PR, customer experience and behavioural science work for UK and international brands.
Ogilvy UK is the London arm of Ogilvy, one of the best-known advertising networks in the world. It helps brands work out what to say and how to say it, then makes the adverts, social content, events and customer experiences that carry the message. Its UK pages list advertising, PR and influence, experience (including the Ogilvy One customer-experience team), consulting and behavioural science, and health. Its UK site also shows work for the Post Office, Argos, Lego, Dove, Cadbury and HOKA.
A directory listing gives Ogilvy's purpose as to "inspire brands and people to impact the world", and the agency talks about "Borderless Creativity", which means people from different specialisms working on the same problem. The roots are in London: the business grew from Mather & Crowther, an agency that opened on Fleet Street in 1850. David Ogilvy started his career there, then founded the New York agency in 1948 that carries his name. In 2018 the firm dropped "& Mather" and became simply Ogilvy.
Ogilvy UK is based at Sea Containers House, 18 Upper Ground, London SE1 9RQ, on the South Bank. A directory listing gives 808 employees, though it is undated. Clients shown on its UK site include Sainsbury's, Tesco, Boots, Aldi, Vodafone, British Airways, Rolls-Royce, Coca-Cola, Formula 1 and the Mayor of London, plus charities such as the National Autistic Society, Stonewall and Relate. We did not find other UK offices.
The agency lists six employee networks: Roots, Rewired, Proud, Equals, MPower, and Parents & Carers. London is also home to two well-known Ogilvy teams: the behavioural science practice #OgilvyChange, started in 2012 by Rory Sutherland, and Ogilvy Pride, started in 2015 (both from a Wikipedia history of the agency). Ogilvy calls itself the most awarded agency in Europe, which is its own claim. Its UK page describes London as "one of the most creative and diverse cities on the planet".
An agency like this employs many kinds of people. Account managers look after clients, strategists and planners find the big idea, copywriters and art directors create it, and producers, designers, social and influencer specialists, data and behavioural science experts, PR consultants and health communicators help deliver it. London job listings have included account manager and business director roles. Laura Vipond is named as Chief Growth Officer for Ogilvy UK, and Laurent Ezekiel became global CEO in September 2025. Simon Beddoe is named as Chief Growth Officer for EMEA, so the London team also works on regional business.
