A Manchester architectural visualisation studio, operating since 2009, producing 3D images, animation and interactive experiences for architects and developers.
Our Studio is an architectural visualisation studio based in Manchester. It makes 3D still images, animations, 360 degree panoramic tours, interactive apps, virtual reality and real-time visuals built with Unreal, a games engine, for architects and property developers. Which one it uses depends on the job: planning images need to be accurate, while marketing images can be more atmospheric. The studio says its work has helped clients win planning permission, funding and tenders, and market their developments.
Our Studio says it has operated since 2009. A New London Architecture membership page describes it as one of the UK's leading architectural visualisation studios, with more than 16 years of experience, producing CGI and verified views for architects, developers and communities. Its stated aim on that page is to help shape places people want to be. Its Manchester Digital profile gives a similar mission: to help bring architects' designs to life and see them realised in the real world.
The Manchester Digital member profile places the studio in Manchester, UK, with clients around the world, and says it has been a member of Manchester Digital for over three years. Manchester Digital is the trade body for the city's digital sector. The New London Architecture membership suggests it also works with the London architecture community. We did not find a street address or a list of other offices.
On people and culture, the profile describes a dedicated team of 3D artists, animators and producers, and describes the staff as true industry specialists who understand what it takes to make a design commercially viable. That is the studio's own wording and we have not checked it. No headcount, named leaders or founders were published on the pages we read, so we have not named anyone.
Studios like this employ 3D artists, animators, real-time and games-engine developers, producers who run projects with clients, and people who deal with sales and planning requirements. They are good examples of how skills from video games, art, film and architecture overlap in a real business. If you enjoy 3D software, drawing, games or buildings, this is a career area where a portfolio of your own work counts for a lot. For current openings, check the studio's own website.
