A Bolton-based online parcel delivery marketplace that lets people and small businesses compare, book and track deliveries from carriers such as Royal Mail, DPD and Evri.
Parcel2Go does not deliver parcels itself. It is a website and app where people and businesses compare prices from many couriers, book a delivery and track it. Its own site says it compares carriers including Evri, DPD and Royal Mail for deliveries across the UK and to more than 180 international destinations, with same-day, next-day and economy options. A free tool called Smart Send pulls orders from eBay, Amazon, Shopify and TikTok into one place so sellers can print labels in bulk. A business unit called Digital Partner Solutions also supplies shipping software to carriers. A May 2025 article said it had sent more than 83 million parcels.
The company says it was founded in 2001 and has more than 20 years of experience, although a 2024 ownership announcement gives 2003, so the exact year is unclear. Its own description is that it aims to bring 'better prices - and better service - to our customers'. Chief executive Paul Doble said in 2024 that the company would stay 'at the heart of the UK parcel delivery ecosystem'. It also runs Parcel2Go.ie for customers in Ireland, and it has reported more than 104,000 business customers alongside individual senders.
Parcel2Go's head office is at Parklands in Lostock, Bolton, Greater Manchester. A May 2025 article describes the company as based in Bolton and records that it was named in the Greater Manchester 125 Rising Stars of Business list for 2024. The same article puts its team at about 185 employees. Its customer service team is described as available 24 hours a day, every day. We found no other UK sites.
Culture-wise, the clearest signal is its sense of humour in public. In 2023 it introduced a cartoon stork called Sven Storkofferson as its 'parcel delivery expert', who appears in videos, radio adverts and social media. The company also partners with a packaging firm, Priory Direct, to offer more sustainable packaging. Beyond that we could not find a values page or staff stories, so what the day-to-day team experience is like remains something to ask about directly.
Behind a price-comparison site sit many kinds of job. Software developers and data people build the booking system and Smart Send. Customer service staff answer questions and chase lost parcels.
