A London healthcare workforce company whose software helps NHS hospitals fill shifts, run staff banks and plan rotas.
Patchwork Health makes software and services that help hospitals staff their wards more flexibly. Its Hub lets hospitals recruit, onboard and manage shifts, its Worker App lets doctors and other clinicians book shifts and track pay, and it also offers rostering and staff-bank tools.
We did not find a formal mission statement. Co-founder and chief executive Anas Nader has said the aim is to "make the NHS the employer of choice for all clinicians". The company also stresses a good user experience and hands-on help setting systems up rather than just selling software.
Patchwork is headquartered in London, and one article says it works with more than 70 NHS hospitals, with about 35,000 clinicians using its app. It was founded in 2016 by two NHS doctors, Dr Anas Nader and Dr Jing Ouyang.
We did not find a description of its culture. The company has been named among Tech Nation's Future Fifty (2024) and won an HSJ Partnership Award in 2022, which are outside recognitions, not staff views. Its job listings include roles such as clinical engagement specialist, where a health background is useful.
We did not find a graduate scheme, internship or apprenticeship. If you are interested, look at its careers page on Workable and at roles that work with clinicians, as some value NHS experience.
