Pheon Therapeutics

A UK-founded biotech developing antibody-drug conjugates, targeted cancer medicines for hard-to-treat solid tumours.

About Pheon Therapeutics

Pheon Therapeutics develops antibody-drug conjugates, or ADCs. An ADC joins an antibody that finds cancer cells to a payload that kills them, so treatment can be aimed at the tumour. Pheon focuses on solid tumours using new targets and new linker-payload designs. Its lead medicine, PHN-010, has been in a first-in-human trial.

We did not find a formal mission statement. Its stated aim is to move its differentiated ADC pipeline through to clinical proof of concept for patients with hard-to-treat cancers.

Pheon is a spin-out linked to King's College London, where co-founder Paul Jackson previously worked, and its funding announcements are datelined London. The pages we read did not list office addresses, and it also runs trials abroad, so ask where roles are based.

Its leadership has changed over time, with Bertrand Damour named as chief executive in 2022 and Cyrus Mozayeni quoted as chief executive in 2024. Culture was not described.

We found no sourced graduate scheme or internship. Check Pheon's own site for roles.
