Phoenix Court (LocalGlobe)

A King's Cross, London investment group that runs the LocalGlobe seed fund alongside later-stage funds.

About Phoenix Court (LocalGlobe)

Phoenix Court Group is an investment group from Saul Klein and his father Robin Klein, who co-founded LocalGlobe. One team works across LocalGlobe, which backs seed to Series A companies, Latitude for Series B and later, and Solar for later-stage and listed technology companies.

We did not find a formal mission statement. Robin Klein's bio says the firm never forgets that the company belongs to the founders. In a 2022 article Saul Klein said the region was "still underserved by investors, especially at the breakout and scale-up stages".

The team works from Somers Town, King's Cross, London. The firm's site lists nine people in investment, five in value creation and around fifteen in business operations, plus a board. It also runs the Phoenix Court Works foundation supporting groups in Somers Town and Camden.

The firm describes a founder-first approach, and press coverage describes a wish for tech values rather than "tech bros". These are descriptions and claims, not an independent view of the culture.

We found no jobs, graduate scheme or internship. The site lists roles in business operations and value creation as well as investing, so those are teams to look at when checking its site for vacancies.
