Quantexa

London software company whose AI links scattered data to help banks, insurers and governments spot fraud and risk and make better decisions.

About Quantexa

Quantexa makes software that helps big organisations make better decisions from their data. Banks, insurers, telecoms companies and governments often hold information about the same customer or company in dozens of separate systems. Quantexa connects those records into one joined-up picture, then applies analytics and explainable AI so people can see patterns, such as a hidden link between accounts that might point to fraud or money laundering. It calls this approach contextual decision intelligence.

The company was founded in London in 2016. Its website credits Vishal Marria, still its chief executive, with bringing a small team together to start it, and Wikipedia lists several co-founders, though its sources differ on the exact list. Quantexa's headquarters are in London. It says it has 17 offices around the world, is active in 100 countries, and has more than 900 team members.

Quantexa's mission is to redefine decision-making across organisations through connected, contextual decision intelligence. In practice that means helping its customers prevent fraud and financial crime, understand their customers better, and take action faster, while being able to explain why the software reached its conclusions.

Customers and partners named on its website include HSBC, Standard Chartered, Allianz, Vodafone, BNY and ING. Wikipedia reports that Zurich was the first insurer to add Quantexa's platform for fraud detection, announced in October 2025, and that Quantexa bought the Dublin-based AI company Aylien in 2023. The company says the platform has been used by more than 15,000 people and has processed over 60 billion records.

Quantexa describes itself as collaborative and human-centred, and lists four values: determination, ambition, teamwork and accountability. Working there means a mix of data science, software engineering, consulting and customer-facing roles. The pages we read do not describe a graduate or internship scheme, so students should check its careers page.
