A London-headquartered information and analytics company behind Elsevier, LexisNexis and the RX events business. It hires graduates into finance, technology and data roles.
RELX is an information and analytics company. Wikipedia says it has about 36,000 employees (2026), works in 40 countries and serves customers in more than 180. It has four main parts: Elsevier, which provides science, technical and medical information and analytics; LexisNexis, which does the same for law; LexisNexis Risk Solutions, which builds tools such as fraud and money-laundering detection for banks and insurers; and RX, which organises events and trade shows.
It was formed in August 1993 when Reed International joined Elsevier, was known as Reed Elsevier, and changed its name to RELX in February 2015. Its head office is in London.
We did not find a formal mission statement. Its graduate page says each business tailors its early-career hiring to its customers, and that early-career roles are meant to teach people about the businesses, technologies, markets and customers.
The page lists roles for technologists, product managers, data scientists, machine learning specialists, researchers, content managers, lawyers and event managers, among others.
For young people, the detailed UK route we found is the Finance Graduate Trainee Programme: three years, three placements across the group, with extra study leave and help completing the ACA or CIMA accountancy qualification. Brightnetwork lists London-based finance graduate programmes for 2027. The page does not give entry requirements, so check RELX's careers site for current routes in data and technology.
