About Republic Europe (formerly Seedrs)

Republic Europe is the trading name of Seedrs Limited, a London private investing platform and equity crowdfunding provider. It lets individuals invest in start-ups, growth companies and, where eligible, venture capital funds, and helps entrepreneurs raise money from their communities, angel investors and larger investors.

In its July 2024 rename announcement the company said it was "committed to empowering the most ambitious investors in Europe". We did not find a longer mission statement on its site.

Seedrs Limited is registered in England and Wales with its registered office at Old Street, London EC1V. Seedrs was founded in 2012 by Jeff Lynn and Carlos Silva, and is now part of the New York-based Republic group. A blog post dated 18 September 2026 shows the Republic Europe insights page is still active.

No individuals are named on the page we read, and we found no culture or values statement or headcount.
