A London school software company, formerly Show My Homework, whose tools help teachers set homework, run lessons and manage school life.
Satchel, also known as Team Satchel and formerly Show My Homework, makes software for schools. Its best-known product lets teachers set and track homework with apps for teachers, pupils and parents, and it has grown to include a cloud system for registers, behaviour and timetables, and an AI tool for making quizzes.
We did not find a formal mission statement. A company profile gives its tagline as "Together through education" and describes it as built by teachers, for teachers. It was founded in 2011 by Naimish Gohil, who was then an assistant headteacher.
Satchel describes itself as a technology start-up based in London. Its own page says it works with over 4,500 schools globally and about one in three UK secondary schools. Company listings give its size as 51 to 200 employees, and an earlier article said over 70.
We did not find pages describing its culture or values. The one company page that mentions its products calls itself an award-winning company, and lists recognition from industry awards.
We did not find a graduate scheme, apprenticeship, internship or work experience programme, and the jobs sections we saw listed no open roles. Check the company website for any current openings.
