A London company developing a pain-free continuous glucose monitor built on a tiny sensor worn just under the skin.
Sava is a London-based health technology company building a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). It uses a minimally invasive molecular sensor that reads biomarkers just under the skin in real time and sends readings to a phone. Its first product is a pain-free glucose monitor.
A job listing says Sava is developing "the most advanced biosensing technology science has to offer" to access bodily information in a painless, real-time and affordable way. Co-founder and co-chief executive Renato Circi said in May 2026 that the company was moving from design to delivering its platform to people worldwide.
Sava is based in London. Its job listings (including a mechanical design role) are London-based, and an October 2026 funding report names Ascensia as its European commercial partner.
In May 2026 it hired John Bernard, who spent seven years at Dexcom, as chief commercial officer. We did not find a values page or headcount.
The roles we found asked for experience: a mechanical design engineer role wanted 2 to 4 years in a regulated field (no longer live), and the listing noted possible visa sponsorship. We found no graduate scheme, internship or apprenticeship, so check Sava's careers page.
