A UK software consultancy, headquartered in Newcastle, that builds software and data systems for finance and public-sector clients.
Scott Logic is a software consultancy. It offers architecture and technical strategy, software development and data engineering, mostly for financial services, investment banking and the public sector. Clients named in press coverage include the DWP, NHS Digital and NatWest.
We did not find a formal mission statement. Press coverage quotes its chief executive saying the firm is "committed to future talent development", and it has run scholarships with Durham and Newcastle universities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Its headquarters are in the Lumen building at Newcastle Helix. It also has UK offices in London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds and Glasgow, and a hub in Copenhagen. The same article says it has more than 400 people.
The article links the firm's new building to its Net Zero commitments. We did not find first-hand culture information, so ask current staff what it is like.
Scott Logic has hired graduate developers in Newcastle for many years, shown by its own blog posts about graduate weeks (2018 and 2019) and a job listing for a Graduate Developer. We could not read the listing, so check the Scott Logic careers page for current requirements and dates.
